Tour Plan

Welcome to Botswana! Arrive at Maun Airport and take a scenic light aircraft transfer (typically 30–45 minutes) to Khwai Airstrip, followed by a 60-minute game drive to Elephant Pan Tented Camp. Your journey into the wild heart of Botswana’s wilderness begins here. Get ready for an immersive safari experience in this exclusive, wildlife-rich corner of the Khwai Private Reserve, where elephant herds and abundant game roam freely around the camp's waterhole.

A full day at Elephant Pan Tented Camp immerses you in Botswana’s Khwai Private Reserve. Start with a thrilling morning game drive spotting lions, leopards, wild dogs, and elephant herds along the Khwai River. Return for brunch and relaxation by the plunge pool or viewing deck, watching animals at the waterhole. Afternoon options include another drive or a guided bush walk for intimate tracking. At dusk, enjoy a night drive for nocturnal sightings like leopards and hyenas. End with sundowners, dinner by the fire, and peaceful sleep to wild sounds. Slip into the camp’s hides anytime for close-up photography.

Bid farewell to Elephant Pan Tented Camp with one final morning activity and a leisurely breakfast surrounded by the sights and sounds of the Khwai Private Reserve. A short game drive transfers you to the nearby airstrip, where a scenic light aircraft flight — typically 30 to 60 minutes — carries you over Botswana's breathtaking landscapes to Kasane Airport. From there, a seamless road transfer of just 10 to 20 minutes delivers you to the iconic Chobe Game Lodge, where sweeping river views and roaming elephant herds signal the beginning of your next safari chapter along the legendary Chobe Riverfront.

Spend a full day at Chobe Game Lodge, the only lodge situated within Chobe National Park, immersed in Africa's premier elephant destination along the iconic Chobe Riverfront. Rise early for a thrilling game drive in an open 4x4, often electric and near-silent, where expert guides lead you through herds of elephant, buffalo, and hippo, alongside rarer sightings such as puku antelope, red lechwe, and kudu, with the ever-present possibility of leopard or lion.

Return to the lodge for brunch and a leisurely midday, whether relaxing in your river-facing room, unwinding by the pool, or strolling the 250-metre boardwalk as birds and wildlife move freely along the water's edge. The afternoon shifts to the river itself, where a serene boat safari brings you alongside bathing elephants, grazing buffalo, and an extraordinary abundance of birdlife all effortlessly close.

As the sun dips toward the horizon, raise a glass on a sundowner cruise and toast to the spectacle unfolding around you: elephants wading through golden light, hippos breaking the surface, and the Chobe River glowing at dusk. The day ends over dinner under the stars, swapping the day's most extraordinary sightings long into the evening.

As your final day at Chobe Game Lodge draws to a close, savor one last morning activity, perhaps a serene boat safari or game drive amid elephant herds and river wildlife, followed by breakfast and time to reflect on unforgettable encounters.
The lodge arranges a smooth departure transfer: a complimentary road transfer (approximately 45 minutes) from the lodge, through Chobe National Park's gates, to Kasane International Airport. Bid farewell to Botswana’s majestic Chobe Riverfront, departing with cherished memories of close-up elephant sightings, thrilling predator encounters, peaceful sundowner cruises, and the raw beauty of Africa's premier wildlife haven.
