Tour Plan

Day 1: Pick-up & Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park

Your driver guide will pick you up from the Airport/ hotel early morning and embark on a scenic 6-hour journey to Murchison Falls National Park. The drive has captivating sights, including lush green landscapes, cattle grazing, Karuma Falls, roadside vendors, small towns, and villages.

Take a lunch break and then continue to your lodge, where you'll check in and later venture out for an evening game drive. Look out for an array of wildlife, including elephants, buffalos, giraffes, hippos, lions, leopards, waterbucks, Uganda kobs, elands, Jackson's hartebeest, and warthogs. Enjoy dinner and a relaxing overnight stay.

Day 2: Game Drive and Launch Cruise

Rise early and venture out on a morning game drive across the open plains of the park, witnessing animals graze and hunt in the savannah. Spot an array of wildlife, including elephants, buffalos, giraffes, hippos, lions, leopards, waterbucks, Uganda kobs, Jackson's hartebeest, and warthogs.

After lunch, embark on a scenic launch cruise to the base of the majestic Murchison Falls, taking in the stunning views and spotting aquatic life like crocodiles, hippos, and numerous bird species along the riverbanks. Upon reaching the base, hike to the top of the falls for breathtaking views, where your driver will meet you and transport you to Budongo Forest for a relaxing evening.

Day 3: Chimpanzee trekking in Budongo Forest

On day 3, the tracking starts at 8:00 am as you are led by the ranger guides to look for these amazing Chimpanzees. During the trek, you will also be able to see various old tree species like mahogany, other primates like baboons and mangabeys, and different bird species. Return to the lodge for lunch and transfer to Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for an overnight.

Day 4: Rhino Tracking in Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary & Return to Entebbe

Following breakfast, set out on an exhilarating rhino-tracking adventure on foot, accompanied by armed rangers. You will be guided through the bush, leading you to the majestic rhinos. The trek typically lasts between 1½ to 2 hours, during which you'll also have the opportunity to spot other fascinating wildlife, including kobs, oribis, bushbucks, waterbucks, monkeys, and a diverse array of bird species.

After this thrilling experience, return to the lodge for lunch, and return to Entebbe for your departure.
