As you enjoy breakfast, your Raja Safari Holidays driver-guide will be ready to pick you up for the scenic 6-hour drive (280 km) to Sipi Falls via the Kampala–Mbale road, with a lunch stop along the way to recharge. Upon arrival, you'll have the chance to tour all three stunning waterfalls, wandering through lush gardens and picturesque coffee plantations, a perfect introduction to the area's natural beauty and a peaceful, rejuvenating start to the trip
After breakfast, embark on a scenic and rewarding journey to Kidepo Valley National Park. The drive takes about 8 hours (approximately 430 km), offering breathtaking views of the great valley and the expansive flatlands of Karamoja, immersing you in the rugged beauty of Uganda's northeastern landscapes. Upon arrival at the lodge, check in, enjoy a relaxing lunch, and unwind before dinner an early night to rest up for the adventures ahead in Kidepo Valley.
After an early breakfast, set off for a thrilling game drive through the Narus Valley in Kidepo Valley National Park. The scenic drive reveals vast wilderness teeming with large herds of buffalo and elephants, along with a variety of antelope species, Jackson's hartebeest, bushbuck, kob, oribi, and zebra. Giraffes, lions, and occasionally leopards also roam the valley, while ostriches, kori bustards, and other unique bird species can be spotted along the way. The drive continues to the Kanangorok Hot Springs, a striking natural attraction.
Return to the lodge for a relaxing lunch, then spend the afternoon on a cultural tour visiting the Karamojong people in the villages of Kapedo and Karenga, a rich opportunity to learn about their distinct traditions and way of life. Round off the day with dinner and an overnight stay at the lodge.
After an early breakfast, embark on a scenic drive from Kidepo Valley National Park to Murchison Falls National Park, covering approximately 259 km over 4 to 5 hours via Kitgum, with a lunch stop in Gulu or at the lodge upon arrival. After entering the park through Tangi Gate, continue with an evening game drive, crossing the Nile as you make your way to the lodge to check in and settle into your accommodations.
Enjoy a delightful dinner at the lodge, unwind from the day's journey, and get ready for a full day of exploration in Murchison Falls National Park tomorrow.
Start your day with an early breakfast, then head out for a morning game drive at the delta, where you'll have the chance to spot elephants, giraffes, lions, leopards, hyenas, and the Uganda kob, among other species. After this exciting adventure, return to the lodge for a well-deserved lunch.
At 2:00 PM, embark on a launch cruise along the Nile at the base of Murchison Falls, taking in spectacular views of hippos, crocodiles, and wildlife gathered along the banks to drink and bathe. Afterward, hike to the top of the falls for stunning views of the Nile cascading over the rocks, before being driven back to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay, a fitting close to a day full of wildlife and natural beauty.
Start your day with an early breakfast before setting off toward Kampala, with an exciting stopover at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary along the way for an unforgettable rhino tracking experience. The full journey covers approximately 260 km (4 to 5 hours), arriving in Kampala in the late afternoon or evening, where you'll be dropped off at your hotel or transferred directly to Entebbe International Airport if you're flying out.
