Tour Plan
You will be met at the airport by our driver-guide and transferred to your accommodation in Arusha. Relax and overnight at Mount Meru Hotel, an oasis of calm, as you prepare for the adventures ahead.
In the morning, our personal safari guide will collect you from your Arusha lodgings for a drive to Tarangire National Park along scenic tarmac roads across Maasai plains with scattered acacia trees. Along the way, see Maasai in colorful dress walking, cycling, herding cattle, and driving donkey carts. Tarangire, famous for large elephant herds, hosts diverse wildlife. From the open-roof safari vehicle, explore seasonal swamps, savanna, and the Tarangire River, spotting zebra, wildebeest, buffalo, giraffe, and possibly lions or leopards. Dinner awaits at a partner lodge with a pool and spacious room.
After breakfast, continue your safari to Lake Manyara National Park, a small yet diverse reserve 120 km west of Arusha, dominated by a shallow soda lake covering 70% of its area. Seasonal flooding attracts thousands of flamingos and over 500 bird species. Exploring the park, we may spot monkeys, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, buffalo, elephants, and, with luck, tree-climbing lions. The park features varied landscapes; open plains, primate-filled woodlands, and baobab-studded cliffs. After a memorable game drive, we head to our accommodation, carrying unforgettable images of Africa’s wildlife.
After breakfast, travel to the fertile highlands where the Iraqw grow wheat and corn. Pass through the misty Ngorongoro Conservation Area, spotting baboons, leopards, or elephants, and admire the breathtaking Ngorongoro Crater. Continue to Serengeti National Park, Tanzania’s largest park, featuring diverse landscapes; plains, swamps, lakes, savannahs, and mountains. Enjoy an extensive game drive before reaching your accommodation for dinner and overnight stay.
This day is dedicated to game drives in the Serengeti, home to abundant wildlife like impala, buffalo, crocodiles, and hippos, and famous for the great migrating herds of zebra, antelope, and wildebeest. Migration patterns follow the rains, moving south to grassy plains in November–December and back north during April–June. Alongside the herds, resident predators such as lions, leopards, and cheetahs may be spotted. After an unforgettable day witnessing the circle of life, we return to your accommodation for dinner, relaxation, and overnight stay on the vast plains.
After breakfast, depart Serengeti for Ngorongoro Crater, spotting the Big Five—lion, elephant, buffalo, rhino, and leopard—along the way. This UNESCO World Heritage Site, 600 m deep and covering 260 sq km, has about 25,000 animals, offering Tanzania’s best game viewing. Arrive at the crater rim before lunch, then descend to spot wildebeest, zebras, gazelles, elephants, and over 500 bird species. With luck, you may see the endangered black rhino. After a full afternoon exploring the crater, proceed to your accommodation for dinner and overnight stay, enjoying the stunning wildlife and landscapes of this iconic site.
You will be collected from your accommodation and transferred directly to the airport for your flight to Zanzibar. Your first night will be spent in Stone Town, allowing a relaxing day with stunning views of the historic city. Optional activities can be arranged, including a guided Old Town tour, Spice Farm visit, Prison Island excursion, or a trip to Jozani Forest. All tours and excursions can be conveniently organized through your hotel.
Situated in the northern part of the island, Nungwi is a vibrant village fringed by some of Zanzibar's most stunning beaches. At your chosen time, you will transfer here, about 50 km from Stone Town. Once a quiet fishing village, it has transformed into a lively island hotspot. Unique for offering views of both sunrise and sunset over the ocean, Nungwi is perfect for relaxation amid white-sand beaches and the turquoise waters of the Indian Ocean. You will stay here for 4 unforgettable nights.
You can enjoy the final hours of your journey at leisure. When the time is right, you will be transferred to the airport to board your flight.
