10-Day Wildlife and Culture Wonders of Uganda

Your 10 Day Uganda Safari begins with pickup from Entebbe International Airport or your hotel. You will meet your professional safari guide and begin your journey eastwards towards the beautiful Sipi Falls.

The drive takes you through changing landscapes, local communities and scenic countryside before reaching the town of Mbale, where you will stop for lunch.

After lunch, continue to Sipi Falls, one of eastern Uganda's most beautiful destinations. The area is famous for its spectacular waterfalls, green hills and coffee-growing communities.

In the afternoon, enjoy a guided hike around Sipi Falls. You will have the opportunity to visit local coffee plantations and learn about the traditional coffee-growing and processing methods. After breakfast, continue your Uganda Safari Tour towards Moroto in the northeastern region of Uganda.

The journey takes you through the dramatic landscapes of Karamoja, an area known for its unique culture, traditional communities and spectacular scenery.

Upon arrival in Moroto, you'll experience a cultural visit with the Karamojong people. This is an opportunity to learn about their traditional way of life, local livelihoods, customs and community traditions.

The experience provides a fascinating contrast to the wildlife-focused sections of your safari and gives you a deeper understanding of Uganda's cultural diversity.

After the cultural experience, return to your accommodation for dinner and an overnight stay.

After breakfast, depart Moroto for one of the highlights of your 10 Day Uganda Safari – Kidepo Valley National Park.

Located in the far northeastern corner of Uganda, Kidepo is one of Africa's most remote and spectacular wilderness areas. The journey takes approximately 5–6 hours, with breathtaking views of the Karamoja landscape along the way.

After lunch and your arrival in the Kidepo area, continue towards your lodge. Depending on your arrival time, you may enjoy a short game drive as you enter the park.

Keep your eyes open for elephants, buffaloes, zebras, giraffes and numerous bird species.

Later, check into your lodge, enjoy dinner and relax in the peaceful wilderness surroundings.

Wake up early for an exciting game drive through Kidepo Valley National Park.

The park is renowned for its spectacular scenery and diverse wildlife. Your game drive will take you across open savannah plains and through valleys where you may encounter elephants, buffaloes, zebras, giraffes, waterbucks, warthogs, ostriches and several antelope species.

With luck, you may also spot predators such as lions, leopards and cheetahs.

One of the highlights of the day is a visit to the Kanangorok Hot Springs, located in the remote northern part of the park. The surrounding landscape provides spectacular views towards the South Sudan border.

In the evening, experience more of the Karamojong culture and learn about traditional community life before returning to your lodge.

In the afternoon, enjoy a boat cruise along the Victoria Nile towards the base of Murchison Falls.

After lunch, embark on a boat cruise along the famous Kazinga Channel.

The channel connects Lake Edward and Lake George and is renowned for its concentration of hippos and other wildlife. During the cruise, you may see hippos, Nile crocodiles, elephants, buffaloes, antelopes and numerous water birds along the shoreline.
